L'atlante contiene immagini e informazioni sulle origini, sulle caratteristiche etniche e morfologiche, sulle attitudini produttive e sui programmi di selezione. Le razze sono classificate in base all'attitudine funzinale: latte, carne, duplice attitudine. L'atlante contiene inoltre informazioni sulle razze autoctone allevate in Italia. L'atalnte è indirizzato agli studenti, allevatori, veterinari e tecnici del settore, a zoologi e a tutte le persone interessate all'argomento. Atlas of the main cattle breeds raised in Italy and around the world, together with information on the origins, ethnic and morphological characteristics, productive aptitudes and breeding programs. The breeds are classified accrding purposes, milk and meat and dual purposes. The Atlas also contains information and pictures of Italian breeds bred in confined areas. The Atlas is intended for students, animal breeders, veterinary surgeons and zoologist, as well as for those studying these subjects.
